6 OPM King and Queen sa 1 bonggang concert

EVA EUGENIO, MARCO SISON, IMELDA PAPIN, RICO PUNO, CLAIRE DELA FUENTE, HAJJI ALEJANDRO                 AT  LA SANTOS

SA kauna-unahang pagkakataon ay magsasama-sama sa isang bonggang concert ang tinaguriang mga reyna at hari ng awiting Pilipino – ang “Kings & Queens of OPM”.

Relive the golden age of OPM with the most iconic men and women of the 70’s, ‘yan ay sina Rico J. Puno, Hajji Alejandro, Marco Sison, Imelda Papin, Claire Dela Fuente and Eva Eugenio. Ang dekada 70 ay tinaguriang Golden Age of Original Pilipino Music, dito rin humataw nang bonggang-bongga ang singing career ng anim na OPM icons with their own brand of music.

Magaganap ang “Kings & Queens of OPM” sa April 29, Saturday, 8 p.m. sa Newport Performing Arts Theater sa Resorts World Manila, kung saan magiging special guest ang promising young singer na si LA Santos.

Siguradong sulit na sulit ang ibabayad n’yo sa concert na ito dahil nga for the first time sa history ng OPM ay magsasama-sama sa isang stage ang hitmaker na si Marco, ang Jukebox King na si Rico J., original Kilabot ng mga Kolehiyala Hajji, ang mga Jukebox Queen na sina Eva at Imelda at ang Karen Carpenter of the Philippines Claire.

Sino nga ba ang makakalimot sa mga classic jukebox songs na “May Bukas Pa” (Rico J), “Nakapagtataka” (Hajji), “My Love Will See You Through” (Marco), “Tukso” (Eva), “Sayang” (Claire) at “Isang Linggong Pag-ibig” (Imelda)? Hinding-hindi makukumpleto ang isang videoke session o isang inuman kapag hindi mo ito narinig.

Promise ng mga hari’t reyna ng OPM, isang once in a lifetime musical experience ang ibibigay nila sa manonood. Sabi nga ni Rico J na kilala bilang maginoo pero bastos on stage, “We will be naughty as usual, but expect the songs we’ve sung over the years to be performed there. We were given free hand in doing our numbers so we might not be as tolerable. We might have disclaimers in concert monitors before the show.”

Ani Hajji, “If you had fun in our past concerts, we will have more this time because our contemporaries and juke box queens are here. We are still talking about our spot numbers hut we will have duets and trios which people haven’t seen yet.”

Hirit naman ni Imelda, “In this concert we will have fun. We might wear two piece bikinis, and our Director is great so you will see a spectacular show!” Na dinugtungan naman ni Claire ng, “Expect riot, duets, hit songs and go back to OPM era plus latest hits.”
