Lea Entertainer of the Year sa 2016 Aliw Awards; Baste Best New Male Artist
TINANGGAL na Entertainer of the Year si Lea Salonga sa katatapos lang na 29th Annual Aliw Awards.
Personal na tinanggap ng international singer ang tropeo sa awarding rites kamakailan. Bukod dito, siya rin ang nag-uwi ng Best Major Concert (Foreign Venue) award.
Ang ilan pa sa mga big winner sa taunang Aliw Awards ay sina Gladys Reyes (Best Female Host), RJ Ledesma (Best Male Host), at Kitkat (Best Actress in a Featured Role for Dirty Old Musical). Best Actor (Musical) naman si Nyoy Volante at Best Actress (Musical) si Joanna Ampil.
Ang Presidential son namang si Sebastian “Baste” Duterte ang nanalong Best New Male Artist Award habang si Demie Fresco (The Voice Season 2 finalist) ang Best New Female Artist.
Ang Bubble Gang boy group namang P.A.R.D. ang tinanghal na Best Crossover Performer (group category).
Wagi rin bilang Best Collaboration in a Concert ang “The Royals” nina Martin Nievera, Regine Velasquez, Angeline Quinto at Erik Santos.
