Sid Lucero walang takot na naghubo’t hubad sa indie movie
WATCHED Sid Lucero’s solo starrer “Toto” and he did not disappoint us. Bilang si Toto na biktima ng typhoon Yolanda, mataas ang pangarap ni Sid. Gusto niyang makarating ng Amerika. Para sa kanya, US is heaven.
Super daring si Sid sa movie. There were some scenes where he was totally naked. Wala siyang keber at talagang ipinakita niya nang buo ang kanyang likod sa dyugdyugan nila ni Liza Dino.
Walang tapon sa cast, lahat magaling umarte. Liza as a con artist definitely gave a fine performance.
Pero mas angat si Mara Lopez bilang girlfriend ni Sid. ‘Yung confrontation scene nila ni Liza showed her acting mettle. Bibeth Orteza also showed her dramatic prowess in a few scenes.
But Sid is no doubt an actor of first calibre. His performance as a room service attendant who’s dreaming to see Uncle Sam is worthy of nomination. Ang galing-galing niya. Go watch Toto when it gets shown in theaters and see Sid at his acting best.
