TINATAYANG 10,000 pulis ang ipapakalat sa 99 sementeryo sa Metro Manila para sa paggunita ng Undas, mula Oktubre 29 hanggang Nobyembre 2.
Itinatag din ang isang joint task force ng Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at iba pang mga ahensiya para matiyak ang peace and order para sa All Saints Day at All Souls Day.
Sa isang press conference, sinabi ni Chief Insp. Kimberly Molitas, spokesperson ng National Capital Region Police Office na magpapakalat ang NCRPO ng 9,533 pulis simula Oktubre 29 para tiyakin ang seguridad ng mga sementeryo, terminal ng bus, airport, simbahan, at iba pang pampublikong lugar.
“Maayos naman po ang ating seguridad sa Metro Manila. However, we are not discounting that aspect. We have our explosives ordnance disposal (EOD) experts, K9 units and special weapons and tactics teams who will be with us during the Undas observation,” sabi ni Molitas.
