P2K dagdag na pensyon ng SSS umusad na sa Kamara

  house of rep Umusad na ang panukala na itaas ng P2,000 ang pensyon na ibinibigay ng Social Security System.      Ayon kay House committee on government enterprises and privatization chairman Jesus Sacdalan aaprubahan ang panukala sa Nobyembre 15 at ipadadala sa House committee on appropriations upang mapag-usapan ang kinakailangang pondo.      “The proposals then were given back to us after the appropriations committee acted on them. We are done with the committee report and it is only a matter of approving it on Nov. 15,” ani Sacdalan.     Mayroong 16 na panukala kaugnay ng pagtataas ng pensyon na pagsasama-samahin at gagawing isang batas.      Nais sana ng komite na aprubahan ang panukala noong Oktobre 18 subalit walang dumating na opisyal ng SSS.      Sinabi ni Paranaque Rep. Gus Tambunting na walang dahilan upang patagalin pa ang pag-apruba sa panukala lalo at naaprubahan na ito ng Kamara de Representantes at Senado noong 16th Congress.       Hindi pinirmahan ng noon ay Pangulong Aquino ang panukala dahil mababangkarote umano ang SSS.      “The bill has priority status this 17th Congress. This was thoroughly studied by both the Senate and the House during the 16th Congress. So whether or not the SSS officials will show up on Nov. 15, we need to discuss and vote on the committee report of the pension hike bills so it can already proceed thereafter to the plenary,” ani Tambunting.      Sinabi ni Tambunting na dapat ayusin ng SSS ang pangongolekta sa mga kontribusyon na kinakaltas sa mga empleyado subalit hindi nire-remit sa kanila. Ang collection rate umano ng SSS ay 40 porsyento lamang. 30
