Matapos tablahin ng GMA: Kris 2 baraha na lang ang pagpipilian

DAHIL malakas ang bali-balitang hindi na magkakaroon si Kris Aquino ng APT Entertainment-produced show na mapapanood sa GMA, ang tanong tuloy ngayon: quo vadis, Kris?

Early last week, it was reported that Kris was mulling over two options in the event na ganito na nga ang mangyayari. Una ay ang paninirahan na lang nilang mag-iina sa Hawaii; at ikalawa ay ang pagtatayo na lang ng sariling TV network.

While both are feasible, kung kilala natin si Kris, her career is not about the eye-popping Hawaii, its pristine beaches, the dancing palm trees, the succulent pineapples, the island frenzy, the tan from the sun.

You don’t uproot her from the sphere of action na malayo sa mga taong tumatangkilik sa kanya, her bashers and critics and detractors included.

Putting up her own TV station is a more likely course of action. After all, given her resources ay makakaya niyang magmay-ari ng isang network, hindi nga lang kasinghigante ng mga mainstream channels.

Ang latest, she’s willing to settle for an on line exposure. And why not? There’s a whole wide world on cyberspace where she can easily connect with people the fastest way she can.

This poses as a challenge to her in terms of public acceptance. Turf o domain niya pa rin kaya ang mundong ‘yon?

While the affirmative answer to that remains to be seen, this can be a trailblazing direction for Kris that only she will dare take.

Dahil kasubuan na rin, walang choice si Kris kundi ipanalo niya ang kanyang mga baraha even without the aces.
