‘Kung pusa ang kaaway ni Suzette Doctolero wag idamay ang aso, baboy at unggoy!’

Isang Flashback Friday ‘yon sa “Cristy Ferminute” (CFM) nitong Biyernes ng umaga when violent, retaliatory reactions more than requested songs by its loyal listeners dominated the airwaves.

Naging paksa kasi namin ni Tita Cristy si Suzette Doctolero, scriptwriter ng GMA who she doesn’t know from Eve. Karugtong pa rin ito ng aming column item dito sa BANDERA over the weekend as Suzette apparently issued a sweeping statement on her social media account, “May nagbabasa pa ba ng tabloid?”

May kanya-kanya kaming opinyon ni Tita Cristy who maintained na magrespetuhan lang tayo ng ating mga trabaho, punctuated by her admiration sa mga batikang manunulat sa telebisyon at pelikula na kailanma’y hindi nagbitiw ng mga mapagmaliit na salita laban sa mga tabloid o sa mga nagsusulat dito.

Even our colleagues —sa kani-kanilang mga kolum sa tabloid —have come up with their fair share of tirades laban kay Suzette (na ayon sa isang GMA insider through a text message ay wala naman daw kasundo sa kanyang mga katrabaho).

Sa pamamagitan ng kolum na ito, we appeal to the Corporate Communications Division of GMA sa pamumuno ni Ms. Angel Javier. Ang departamentong ito—at all times—works closely with the production from whose creative team emanate all program information fed to tabloid writers as well as editors for publication.

Unless Suzette’s immediate attention is called as far as her misdemeanor (hostile stance sa mga nagsusulat sa tabloid) is concerned, madadamay at madadamay rin ang mga teleseryeng isinusulat niya, na balita na ngang salat sa orihinalidad.

Mariin ngang sabi ni Tita Cristy, “Kung pusa ang kaaway ni Suzette, huwag niyang idamay ang aso, baboy, unggoy, kuneho, kambing at iba-iba pang hayop!”

Nagsusulat din ba si Suzette Doctolero sa Animal Planet? Eh, ‘di meow!
