Reaksiyon ‘yon ni Suzette Doctolero na, “Nobody reads him…he’s irrelevant.”

Siyempre, may buweltang sagot si Alex (although using a different FB account name).

For sure, Suzette—for all intents and purposes—does not mean to condescend on ALL entertainment tabloid writers.

We don’t intend to insult Suzette’s sensibilities, pareho lang naman tayong nagsusulat, only that she writes scripts most of which have been questioned in terms of originality.

But her materials—sa aminin niya o hindi—whether fresh or otherwise—need a great deal of tabloid exposure para abangan at tangkilikin ng masa which is very captive market ng mga tabloid.

At marami. A lot of readers— na mostly ay binubuo ng masa ayon na rin sa demographics—subscribe to this diyaryo today, pambalot ng tinapa tomorrow, binabasa ngayong araw, pantakip ng mga itinumbang kriminal kinabukasan.

This is not to push for greater patronage para sa mga nagsusulat sa broadsheets either (may dual personality ang writer na ito as we also write for one).

Size o sukat lang ng diyaryo ang ipinagkaiba ng mga babasahing ito, but the most of the contents, Suzette, hardly bear much of a difference.

But the effort at skillful writing put in it is practically the same.

As to your works, Suzette, I reserve my comment.
