PANG-20 ang Pilipinas sa pinakamasayang lugar sa buong mundo, ayon sa ulat ng Happy Planet Index (HPI) think tank na New Economic Foundation (NEF), na ipinalabas kamakailan.
Nakakuha ang Pilipinas ng iskor na 35.0 .
Tinatayang 140 bansa ang kabilang sa HPI.
Noong 2016, itinanghal ang Costa Rica bilang pinakamasayang lugar sa mundo, na may iskor na 44.7.
Sumunod naman sa Costa Rica ang Mexico, Colombia, Vanuatu, Vietnam, Panama, Nicaragua, Bangladesh, Thailand, Ecuador, Jamaica, Norway, Albania, Uruguay, Spain, Indonesia at El Salvador.
“While wealthy western countries are usually regarded as standards of success, these countries do not rank highly on the Happy Planet Index,” sabi ng ulat.
