“I’m very much a Kapamilya. You know, I told them, I started here and I’ll end my career here. Hindi ako aalis ng ABS-CBN for anything. Siguro personal puwede, pero I’m here to stay. Siguro hindi naman kailangan ng kontrata to show your loyalty, but I’m here.

“I value my relationship with Star Magic, with my bosses, with my fellow ABS-CBN artists. I’m comfortable here so I don’t see any reason why I have to leave or quit my job. “I’m just being thankful and grateful for the opportunities that are coming my way.

Maria at Hayden Kho. Paliwanag ni Papa P, “I thought of retirement two years ago. I guess it was very selfish of me to think of that knowing that this business has given me life more than what I bargained for.”

Talagang bakasyon at pag-aaral lang ang ginawa niya sa Europe, “At this point in my life, I asked for some time off ‘cause I needed to reward myself and also to think for myself. You know, I’ve been working for 18 years straight. I just needed some time to breathe. “For me, hindi naman kailangang mag-quit sa trabaho. I realized that you have to pursue your passion. Not that I’m good at what I do, but this is where God put me.

“So, I don’t have any right to resist or say no to it because dito ako nilagay ng Diyos,” litanya pa ng aktor. Natanong din si PJ tungkol sa short course na kinuha nila sa Oxford University, “It’s knowing about how to defend your faith and live your life now.

“Of course, in our life now, marami tayong questions and we tackled so many different scenarios and situations. Parang every class is a 30-minute or 40-minute class. “Yun nga, parang it’s just knowing where you are in your life and what to know about the current situations na nangyayari sa paligid natin.

“And I learned a lot. It’s so nice to go back to school, wake up early each day with an ID, just sit in the class and take in whatever lesson you can learn from all the classes that we have. It’s very helpful for my faith and walk,” paliwanag pa ni Papa P.
