P50K na minimum wage para sa pulis pinag-aaralan na ni Duterte

SINABI ni Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano na pinag-aaralan na ni President-elect Rodrigo Duterte ang panukala na itaas ng P50,000 kada buwan ang sweldo ng mga pulis na may ranggong Police Officer 1 (PO1).
“Bale ang makukuha nila ay P50,000, kasama na ang base pay at saka allowance …This is his (Duterte’s) promise,” sabi ni Cayetano matapos dumalo sa paglulunsad ng isang coffee table book ng Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) sa Abreeza Mall sa Davao City.
Iginiit naman ni Cayetano na bagamat maaari naman itong ipatupad, kailangan pa itong aprubahan ng Kongreso.
Idinagdag ni Cayetano na nagsumite na ang kanyang grupo, kasama ang aide ni Duterte na si Christopher “Bong” Go ng panukala sa papasok na pangulo ng bansa at kay incoming PNP chief Ronald dela Rosa
“…So they can take a look at the numbers The next stop, he said, will be to the budget secretary,” ayon pa kay Cayetano.
Matatandang ipinangako ni Duterte sa nakaraang kampanya na dodoblehin niya ang sweldo ng mga pulis para ganahang magtrabaho at hindi na gumawa ng iligal na aktibidad.
