“That is the reason why I keep mum on who among our athletes have qualified,” sabi ni Romasanta.

“A day after Ms. Ian (Lariba) qualified, nagpadala agad ng sulat ang IF nila about her inclusion in the Olympics,” sabi ni Romasanta. “Other than her, wala pa na ibinibigay na confirmation sa atin ang ibang IFs about our athletes na nakapagkuwalipika na, even sa boxing at taekwondo.”

“Kahit iyung boxers natin na sina Charly (Suarez) at Rogen (Ladon), nakalagay doon na they are now part of quota places, which we wanted to clarify kaya sumulat kami with final note na please justify and confirm if they are indeed qualified or maghihintay pa tayo na matapos ang lahat ng qualifying event nila,” sabi ni Romasanta.

“Pati na rin kay Kirstie Elaine (Alora), we really wanted if she indeed is now part of those athletes confirmed to compete in her category,” sabi pa ni Romasanta. “Even Eric (Cray) of athletics, wala pa rin confirmation that he indeed was among to run in the 400m hurdles.”
