Pops iyak nang iyak nang makilala ang anak ni Martin sa ibang babae
POPS FERNANDEZ AT MARTIN NIEVERA
NATUPAD na rin sa wakas ang isa sa mga Christmas wish ng Concert King na si Martin Nievera.
Nag-goodbye ang 2015 na maligayang-maligaya si Martin. Sa presscon ng Valentine concert nila ni Regine Velasquez kasama sina Angeline Quinto at Erik Santos, titled “ROYALS”, ikinuwento ng TV host-singer ang pinakamagandang regalo na natanggap niya noong Pasko – ang maipakilala sa kanyang ex-wife na si Pops Fernandez ang anak niya sa ibang babae na si Santino.
“It was an event with friends and a lot of their kids. The changing of the guards moment was when she met Santino,” simulang pahayag ng Concert King.
Hinding-hindi raw niya makakalimutan ang moment na ‘yun, lalo na nang maghiwa-hiwalay na sila after the meeting.
“When she (Pops) said goodbye, that was the most touching part. When the kids said goodbye to each other and Santino wouldn’t let go of his brothers, holding his brothers. She began to cry. So, it was very touching to see that,” kuwento ni Martin.
Dagdag pa niya, “I don’t know how everyone will accept it but what matters is that my kids were together, which is all I wanted for Christmas. So, I got my wish.”
Inamin din ni Martin na matagal nang sinasabi sa kanya ni Pops na gusto nitong makilala si Santino na anak nga niya sa dating girlfriend na si Katrina Ojeda.
“Yeah, since he was born because all the pictures that I sent her during the early years of Santino. She would be like ‘My God this looks like Robin’ or ‘This looks like Ram!'” chika pa ng ex-husband ni Pipay.
Agree naman si Martin na lumalaki si Santino na nagiging kamukha ng dalawa niyang anak kay Pops,
“Malakas talaga ang dugo ko eh. So she can see both kids in Santino and so she wants our kids to be babies again in the form of Santino.”
At sa nakaka-touch na pagkikita at pagba-bonding ng kanyang ex-wife at bunsong anak, posibleng maulit pa raw ito, “I think so. I told them every year that if anything happens to me. Make sure that you have to continue this. You have to continue this tradition because it’s the only thing that my son asks for.”
Kuya na rin daw ang tawag ni Santino sa mga anak nila ni Pops na sina Robin at Ram.
