Mary Jane Veloso sinabing isa na siyang “bagong tao”

IPINAGDIWANG ni Mary Jane Veloso ang ang kanya ika-31 kaarawan kasama ang kanyang pamilya matapos naman siyang dalawin sa kanyang kulungan sa Indonesia.
“She looked at peace and was both cheerful and sedate,” sabi ng Migrante International kahapon.
Umalis noong Enero 11 papuntang Indonesia ang mga magulang ni Veloso na sina Cesar at Celia, dalawang anak na sina Mark Darren at Mark Daniel, ang kanyang abogado na si Atty. Edre Olalia at Migrante Rights and Welfare Program Coordinator Laorence Castillo para madalaw si Veloso.
“Her family spent the whole time bonding and catching up since she was given a reprieve in April last year by the Indonesian government,” dagdag ng Migrante.
“According to her parents, she was more prayerful now and she said she is a ‘new person’,” ayon pa sa Migrante.
Idinagdag ng Migrante na nakasama muli ni Veloso ang kanyang mga magulang at dalawang anak noong Martes.
“They sang happy birthday, joined in by an Indonesian prosecutor, jail guards and Mary Jane’s spiritual adviser. They partook on simple fast food and cake. The family brought her gifts and letters from supporters in the Philippines,” sabi pa ng Migrante.
Nakatakdang bumalik kahapon ang pamilya Veloso.
