Mar Roxas ipinagtanggol si Korina: Misis ko siya at mahal ko siya

KEBER na lang ba talaga kung hindi boboto ang mga Pilipino kay Mar Roxas dahil lang sa misis nitong si Korina Sanchez?

 

Para kay Roxas mismo, nalulungkot siya  sa ganong balita, pero wala siyang magagawa dahil mahal niya si Korina.

“I am saddened to hear that, but Korina’s my wife and I love her very much and she’s with me and I’m with her,” pahayag ni Roxas nang tanungin kung: “Is it fair for people to say they will not vote for you because of Korina?”

Si Roxas, dating senador at interior secretary, ang naunang presidential aspirant na isinalang sa Meet Inquirer Multimedia forum nitong Miyerkules.

Sa tanong kung anong magiging role ng misis nito sa sandaling siya ang mahalal na pangulo, isa lang ang naging tugon ni Roxas: “She’ll be my wife. I don’t expect her to go back to her profession.”

“She’s given up her profession. I expect that her charity work, her foundation work that she started, her Tsinelas Foundation, which she will continue,” dagdag pa nito patungkol sa dating brodkaster.

Si Sanchez ay isang dating brodkaster ng ABS-CBN.  Nagbitiw siya sa kanyang primetime newscast “TV Patrol,” ngunit patuloy pa rin ang pag-ere ng kanyang  weekly magazine show na “Rated K.”

Sa mga nagdaang panahon, ilang kontrobersya ang kinasangkutan ng dating brodkaster habang ginagampanan ang kanyang trabaho gaya na lang ang pakikipag-away nito sa CNN broadcaster na si Anderson Cooper matapos ang pananalasa ng supertyphoon Yolanda.
