Edu muling sasabak sa politika, tatakbong Senador sa 2016

I BUMPED into our dear friend Edu Manzano the other night sa birthday party ng mahal naming kaibigang si Papa Neal Gonzales sa Makati and he looked so good.

Sabi nga ng anak-anakan kong si Nikko Seagal Natividad (Gandang Lalaki grand winner ng It’s Showtime last year), parang hindi raw tumatanda si Edu.

Matikas and young-looking pa rin. Yes, Edu is really blessed sa kaniyang looks and built and in fairness to him, he still very much up and about.

Very jolly pa rin ito and hindi suplado. Tinanong ko siya kung totoo ang chika that he is running for the Senate and he said yes.

He used to be Vice Ma-yor of Makati before he attempted to run for Vice President last elections as Gibo Teodoro’s running mate but lost to VP Jojo Binay.

Pero it didn’t stop Edu from pursuing his political ambitions.

Papaya Dance niya this time.

Sana. If he’s destined to become a Senator, who knows.

Kung si late Tita Cory Aquino nga na isang housewife lang that time ay nanalo, si Edu pa kaya na dati nang nasa politics. Kungsabagay, ibang kaso naman yung kay late Tita Cory – naging central character siya when her husband Ninoy was gunned down and it was the time also when this country was so hungry for a political change.
